Mindtech develops unique solutions for AI enabled visual processing. Our AI & Services division leverages Mindtech’s unique, powerful Simulator technology and AI toolkit to deliver customised, domain-specific training data as well as fully-trained networks to customers in a range of industries. As a result of strong demand, we are expanding our development team to accelerate our roadmap development
Based in either our Sheffield, South Yorkshire or King’s Langley headquarters, this is a prime opportunity to get in on the ground floor as we expand our UK development team.
The Cloud Deployment Engineer will be part of a team deploying a containerised unity simulator aimed at the production of training data for neural network training. Responsible primarily for the deployment of containerised applications this role will also extend to document writing for recreation on various platforms.
Key Qualifications
- A proven history of managing and deploying
- Knowledge of best practices for containerisation
- Knowledge of one of the following: AKS EKS or GKE
- Experience deploying GPU based containers on a cloud host
- Excellent written and communication skills
- (Bonus) Experience with Azure CLI
- (Bonus) Experience in the creation of Vulkan based dockerized containers
Description
This role will be working on the deployment of as well as ensuring the robustness of the simulator, this will include performance testing on different cloud-based hardware as well as documenting step-by-step deployment instructions to aid clients in setup.
Create development plans for your work and track the execution of the design work.
Report development progress to management.
Experience and education
2 years hands-on experience with dockereized applications
2 years experience using kubernetes or equivalent
(Bonus) 1 years’ experience with Azure CLI
